This spring, Manda Harvest was evaluated in a commercial strawberry trial in Santa Maria, California. The trial took place during a particularly challenging period marked by heat stress, heavy rainfall, and widespread disease pressure throughout the region.
Before the formal trial concluded, the grower expanded Manda Harvest applications across the entire ranch. The decision was based on observations in the field, where treated plants appeared to maintain stronger vigor and fruit development despite difficult growing conditions.

Laboratory tissue analyses provided additional insight. Compared to untreated plants, strawberries receiving Manda Harvest showed higher levels of calcium, manganese, copper, and iron—nutrients closely associated with plant metabolism, stress response, and overall plant function. Tissue samples also indicated improved nutrient balance during a period when many growers were reporting significant crop stress.
Field observations supported the laboratory findings. The grower noted improved plant performance and continued fruit sizing, with treated blocks producing large, marketable berries while many neighboring fields struggled with environmental stress and disease-related challenges.

While additional data collection is ongoing, these early results are encouraging and align with what we have observed in other crops: healthy, active plants are often better equipped to withstand difficult growing conditions.
We appreciate the cooperation of our grower in sharing field observations and associated lab data and look forward to sharing additional results as the season progresses.
